Home is the major theme in the story of Himitsu no Sensou, and it's a theme riddled with bittersweet flavour throughout. It goes far beyond just the six central characters of the story who have been ripped from their homes, and are forced to come to terms with a life of questioning whether they can go back. It's written into the fabric of several other characters, and what home means to them. The people who joined this adventure, they all have a different perspective on home. This is a reflection, a daydream, and it opens them up to feelings that they can cherish or run away from. Always just a little complicated at least.
Effervescent pop without a drop of irony, perfectly geared for fans of the more dance-oriented side of indie music and Tears for Fears. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 2, 2023
